Jayson Glenn’s experiences with bullying have taught him to be his own cheerleader. He transfers his confidence to his clients and helps them to realize their potential through hair and makeup. He hopes to become the next American Beauty Star so he can share his many gifts with the world.
Oz Wilson-Perry is a vivacious artist of many talents. Growing up, she lived in various cities and considered many careers. Oz has loved all things beauty and fashion since she was 12 years old. Because of this, pursuing hair and makeup was the natural career trajectory for her. Oz doesn’t hesitate to speak her mind and go after what she wants. Today, she has her own brand and is a key makeup artist for The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Oz Wilson-Perry is loud, proud, authentic, and will do whatever it takes to become the next American Beauty Star. She’s worked her entire life for an opportunity like this and believes her time is now.
Sara Stoy is a quirky, bubbly hair and makeup artist from Hamilton, NJ. As the youngest contestant, Sara wants to prove that age ain’t nothing but a number. In doing this, Sara hopes to inspire young girls to be unafraid in pursuit of their passions. While Sara may be fearless about her passions, she is still studying to become a teacher to appease her parents. Sara Stoy first tapped into her passion for hair and makeup while working at the MAC counter; now she does freelance work, mostly for proms and other events. She also enjoys creating makeup tutorials and sharing them on her YouTube channel and Instagram page. Sara has never been away from home for long; being in this competition is one of the first things she’s done on her own. She seized this opportunity and is going for it wholeheartedly, hoping to prove that she has what it takes to become the next American Beauty Star.
Kendra Springer is a spunky hair and makeup artist from Seattle, Washington. She’s the first to crack a joke, but isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. Kendra began her career working for MAC, and she now owns her own hair and makeup business where she employs 5 people. She’s competitive by nature and dreams of conquering the makeup world and developing her own line. Kendra Springer has a big personality and great sense of humor, but she’s cutthroat when it comes to the competition, and wants to prove to the world that she is the next American Beauty Star.
Sir John is a world renowned celebrity makeup artist with an impressive client list that includes Beyonce, Karlie Kloss, Chrissy Teigen, and Kim Kardashian, just to name a few. He is a beauty consultant for several beauty brands, and has been a long time L’Oreal Paris celebrity makeup artist. Sir John is not only on call for Hollywood and Entertainment royalty, he’s also become a favorite among fashion’s elite thanks to his signature versatility. Sir John’s trailblazing within the beauty industry has made him one of the most sought-after artists around, and he continues to expand his style by his creative use of color and the ability to transform women without masking their natural beauty.
Sir John returns to American Beauty Star as the mentor on Season 2, and will continue to guide and advise the contestants throughout their journeys.

American Beauty Star judge Yu Tsai is an internationally renowned celebrity and fashion photographer. His inspirations are a compilation of his studies and his extensive travels to Africa, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. After changing direction from his scientific studies, Yu Tsai earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Art Center College of Design, Pasadena, CA where he discovered his passion for directing and design.
Yu has shot for iconic international brands such as Apple, Guess, Coca-Cola, Emporio Armani, Victoria’s Secret, and continues to work with his clients such as Guess, Sports Illustrated, FreeSoul, Pantene and Hickey Freeman. He continues to shoot in the editorials arena; creating covers and stories with International magazines such as Harpers Bazaar Singapore, Vogue Thailand, Harpers Bazaar UK, Cosmopolitan US, Flaunt Magazine and Sports Illustrated. She is additionally responsible for all corporate beauty and branded content innovations, including My Beauty Chat—a voice-first beauty brand on Amazon Alexa—and the Hearst Beauty Reports, which run across multiple magazines.
Prior to being named Chief Beauty Director, Leah served as Executive Beauty Director of Hearst Magazines’ flagship Cosmopolitan, the world’s largest young women’s media brand. She has also held roles as a beauty editor at Fitness and SELF.
