Adriana Lima

There’s no doubt that Adriana Lima—one of fashion’s most notable faces and bodies—has made herself a prominent figure in the fashion world. Widely recognized as one of today’s top supermodels, Adriana’s exotic beauty has garnered attention from some of the biggest names in the industry and beyond. Adriana is no stranger to the runway, having walked for design houses including Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Emanuel Ungaro, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Ralph Lauren, Vera Wang, and Valentino. In 1999, Adriana began working with Victoria’s Secret and has been an official Victoria’s Secret Angel since 2000. She has opened the annual Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on multiple occasions, and donned the coveted million-dollar Fantasy Bra three times. She is regularly featured in television ads for the brand.

Though Adriana is most widely associated with Victoria’s Secret, she also is the face of Marc Jacobs Decadence and Divine Decadence fragrances and has headlined fashion campaigns for the designer, as well as Balmain, Blumarine, Guess and Givenchy. Adriana was the primary spokesmodel for Maybelline from 2003-2009, and then returned to work with the brand again in 2014. In addition to Adriana’s busy and successful modeling career, she is also pursuing an acting career. She was directed by Wong Kar-Wai alongside Mickey Rourke and Forest Whitaker in The Follow, and she appeared in a short film for BMW’s series The Hire, starring Clive Owen. Adriana also guest-starred as herself on Ugly Betty and The Crazy Ones. Her television approachability also helped her a role as cultural correspondent for NBC Universal during the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games. Most recently, she has ventured into hosting with the upcoming premiere of Lifetime’s new highly beauty competition series American Beauty Star.

Fluent in English, French, and her native language of Portuguese, Adriana has traveled the world extensively and been introduced to a variety of cultures. These experiences have nurtured her compassionate nature, and along with her illustrious achievements, Adriana is active in the philanthropic world. She has dedicated her time traveling to Haiti for St. Luke’s charity as well lending her name to the Luta Pela Paz organization in her native Brazil.

Despite her major career success, Adriana’s most fulfilling role to date is as the mother of two daughters, Valentina and Sienna.
