Here Comes the Modern Bride

The contestants of American Beauty Star throw rice at these modern bride glam looks

Grab the rice, a modern bride is walking down the aisle in episode 6 of American Beauty Star! Wedding season is around the corner, but the days of traditional wedding looks are long gone. Today’s modern bride is all about taking fashion risks and living boldly.

For this challenge, the remaining artists had to create bold and impactful bridal looks inspired by unconventional wedding gowns. But, looking good is only half the challenge. Bridal makeup has to last all day and night – from the pictures, to the kiss, all the way through the after party. Luckily Revlon’s ColorStay collection will give any modern bride flawless, all day coverage. Watch the full episode and check out their final looks below!

Contestant: Axel

Inspired by beach weddings, Axel went with a pop of color on the eyes, a peachy, glossy lip, and a sleek wet hair look.

My favorite look was Britney and my least was Oz by far….SO unfortunately this program is showing its true color: not about talent but marketing, group targeting and politically correctness…Starting with the host who is certainly getting bigger as a name but smaller as a person of integrity, totally hypocrite with crocodile tears. Absolutely no ability to differentiate what a true artist is. Just following what the production is telling her. But the worst Judge is the so called photographer Yu Tsai, definitely not in the same league as a Demarchellier but allowing himself the most stupid comments. It is insulting to have to listen to this low life person, even worse for the candidate to be judged by someone who cannot be a reference. Oz work was the worst of all, and Diana’s was horrible but he sent Ronaldo home…hum bogus…I refrain from name calling or insult as it is not my education but he does not deserve more from me. As far the show is concerned, you just got one less follower but I am probably not in your targeted audience. Sad production teams…

I cannot believe the judges voted Jayson out instead of Brittany who has never won or been in the top or Samson who played it safe. What is it with the judges? Do they always kick out the winner once they’ve won (like what happened to Ronaldo last week) because they are the biggest threat to Lucy or Diana? Look out Oz, you will get kicked off next week!
