American Beauty Star Contestants Create Disney Movie Makeup Looks in Episode 8

If you could recreate a Disney movie makeup look, which character would you choose? In episode 8 of American Beauty Star, the contestants created looks fit for the Disney Channel original movie, Descendants 3. So, this challenge was all about the classic battle of good vs. evil. The eight remaining contestants worked in teams of two to create cohesive hero vs. villain looks that have an imaginative back story.

Contestant: Axel 

Axel was paired with Kendra, and they decided to go for a ‘two queens fighting’ concept. Axel went with an extravagant rhinestone lip for his Snow White-inspired hero look.

Kendra was inspired by a wild, avant-garde huntsman for her villainous look. She went with sleek blunt bangs, and an sharp, angular eye.

Contestant: Brittney

Brittney was paired with Diana, and they went for a Mulan-inspired look. Brittney used red and black hues on the face and an intricate ponytail for her villainous look.

Contestant: Diana

To create her heroic look, Diana went with a soft color palette and white eyeliner.

Jayson chose Lucy as his partner, and together they went for an Evil Stepmother vs. Fairy Godmother concept. Jayson used playful gemstones and golden highlights to create his Fairy Godmother-inspired look.

For her Evil Stepmother-inspired look, Lucy went with a geometric purple smokey eye and an intricate updo.

Oz was paired with Samson, and the two decided to go for a ‘Sister Witches’ look. She used deep emerald tones on the eye and voluminous hair to create her ‘evil sister’.
