These Blonde Hair Babes Came to Have Fun

They say blond(e)s have more fun, which probably explains why so many folks showed up to the 2019 Met Gala rocking blonde hair. From Kacey Musgraves who gave us Elle Woods and Malibu Barbie tease, to Kris Jenner, momager extraordinaire, the girls were in their wig chests tonight, honey! Now, if you know anything about camp, you know that you can’t really do camp without statement hair. What makes more of a statement than platinum blonde tresses that look so bad, they’re good?!

Before we round up our favorite looks from the night, let’s take a look at some of the blondes who brought the looks.

Kris Jenner

Let’s start with the Head-Kardashian/Jenner-in-Charge, Kris Jenner. The mom of six is no stranger to (blonde) wigs. When asked what inspired her blonde do, she said that she took advice from her daughters. She is giving us major Janice “Mama” Combs vibes and we love it! Side note: if you don’t know who Mama Combs is, Google Diddy’s mother and get your life, babe.

Lady GaGa

Next up is the event’s host, Lady GaGa, who we covered in another blog post. As part of her look, Lady GaGa wore blonde hair that was perfectly coiffed for a look fit for her pink carpet performance art. While this isn’t her first time at the rodeo, we can’t think of another hair color that would have worked.

Gwen Stefani

Speaking of girls who are not strangers to blonde hair, Gwen Stefani wore her hair in a high ponytail a la Ariana Grande. Not only was Gwen’s ponytail snatched, but so was her face! Seriously, the 49 year old mom of three looks like she needs to drop her skincare routine stat! Retinol has to be part of it, no doubt.

Tiffany Haddish

Actress and comedienne, Tiffany Haddish, gave us 80s gangsta, pimp real-ness in a sequined zebra print suit and wavy blonde hair! Tiffany, who has famously repeated outfits at events, opted for something new and was on theme in this kitschy look.

Hailey Beiber

Okay, we know that Hailey Beiber has naturally ash blonde hair, however, we can’t help but to include her because of this cute updo! While an Ariana Grande ponytail is more popular these days, this I Dream of Jeanie hairdo is just as cute! 10/10.

Elle Fanning 

Another cutie who normally wears blonde hair that caught our eyes is Elle Fanning. Just like Hailey, she gave us I Dream of Jeanie slash Beyonce at Beychella (week 2) vibes! We might talk about her look in another blog post, but we must mention those nails that are truly camp af.
