Past Looks From This Year’s Oscar Presenters
We are so excited to see the looks celebrities will rock at the 90th annual Academy Awards, and the star-studded list of presenters is making it even harder to wait for Sunday night! We decided to take a stroll down memory lane and compile what we think are the best looks from all the female presenters for the 2018 Oscars.
Emily Blunt
We are head over heals for Emily Blunt’s 2017 Screen Actor’s Guild Awards look. Her subtle metallic eyes and pinky nude lip compliment the embellished Roberto Cavalli gown she wore beautifully. More of this at the 2018 Oscars please!
Sandra Bullock
We are still not over Sandra Bullock’s look from the 2015 London premiere of the Minions movie. The smokey eye and middle part lend a fierceness to the actress, spicing up her paisley-print Stella McCartney dress.
Jane Fonda
It’s hard to choose one favorite look from the legendary Jane Fonda, but we had to single out her glamorous look from amFAR’s 21st Cinema Against AIDS Gala in 2014. We have to admit, we’re not the biggest fans of the arm detail on her Atelier Versace gown, but her pinkish mauve lip and striking blue eyes make up for it.
Jodie Foster
Jodie Foster was absolutely stunning at the 2016 British Academy Britannia Awards. Her elegant yet simple hair and makeup made the actress/director’s blue eyes stand out against her sparkly sheer and black Burberry dress.
Ashley Judd
We are absolutely stunned with how beautiful Ashley Judd looked at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards. She looks WAY younger than 47 in her beaded Badgley Mischka gown. Her side-swept hair, long lashes and blush colored gloss are giving us major old Hollywood vibes with a modern twist.
Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman was having a moment at the 1st annual Rome Film Festival in 2006 when she wore a L’Wren Scott dress to the premiere of Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus. Her flirty, voluminous hair and simple makeup are absolutely stunning. Is it just us or does this dress look like something a Hadid sister would be seen wearing today?
Helen Mirren
It was hard to choose our favorite Helen Mirren look, but we just couldn’t ignore the major boss lady vibes she gave off at the 2016 New York premiere of Eye In The Sky. Her Giorgio Armani power suit and messy slicked back hair are to die for. The pearl earrings and red lipstick add some feminine touches to round out this killer look.
Rita Moreno
We think Rita Moreno looked absolutely adorable at the 2018 Golden Globe Awards. We love her embellished leather jacket and signature glasses along with her perfectly coiffed hair.
Lupita Nyong’o
We are LIVING for the look Lupita Nyong’o rocked at the 2014 NAACP Image Awards. The burnt orange Givenchy gown is stunning on the actress, and her pigtail poufs are absolutely adorable. She completed the look with perfectly executed multicolor eyeshadow and a glossy reddish-orange lip.
Eiza González
We love Eiza González’s look at the 2014 MTV Millennial Awards in Mexico City. She paired her bold red dress with a matching lip color and otherwise simple makeup. Her sleek ponytail added some chicness and sophistication to the look.
Viola Davis
We love Viola’s look from the 2015 Academy Awards. She embodied Old Hollywood glamour in a Zac Posen gown with a burgundy lip and dramatic lashes, and we’re obsessed with her natural curls.
Laura Dern
We think Laura Dern was absolutely stunning in this Gabriela Hearst gown at the 2017 Met Gala. She kept her glam fresh and simple with some eyeliner and a coral lip color. Her vintage Cartier choker, featuring a diamond-encrusted beetle, added even more elegance to the look.
Jennifer Garner
We’re still swooning over the gorgeous look Jennifer Garner rocked at the premiere of The Tribes of Palos Verdes in 2017. She paired her Joanna Ortiz dress with simple eye makeup, a natural-looking red lip color and effortless waves.
Greta Gerwig
Greta Gerwig looked sleek and sophisticated at the Gotham Independent Film Awards in 2016. She looked fresh-faced with simple makeup and a reddish orange lip color.
Tiffany Haddish
We’re obsessed with Tiffany Haddish’s look at the 2017 New York Film Critics Awards. She wore a Walter Mendez dress with pink and gray eyeshadow, a nude lip, and her braids tucked into a large bun.
Margot Robbie
Margot Robbie always slays on the red carpet, but we had to choose this look from the 2015 Vanity Fair Oscar Party. She paired her Dior dress with simple eye makeup and a striking red lip. Her blonde bob was styled into a deep side part.
Emma Stone
Emma Stone glowed at the 2017 Academy Awards in this Givenchy dress. She styled her red locks into 1920’s inspired curls, paired with glittering gold eyeshadow and a deep red lip.
Daniela Vega
We love Daniela Vega’s look from the 67th Berlin International Film Festival. She matched her pinup-inspired hair with winged eyeliner and red lips.
Gal Gadot
Gal Gadot looked flawless at the premiere of Keeping Up With The Joneses in 2016. She paired her Dolce & Gabbana dress with an elegant updo. Her eyes were lined with a bronze shadow and she rocked a burgundy lip color.
Gina Rodriguez
We love Gina Rodriguez’s look from the 2015 Grammy Awards. The actress wore a Christos Costarellos gown with dramatic lashes and a glossy nude lip. She made her eyes pop even more by putting gold shadow on her lower lash line, and her voluminous curly locks were to die for.
Eva Marie Saint
We are throwing it all the way back to the 1950’s for Eva Marie Saint’s look. She is the epitome of Old Hollywood glamour with a fresh face, red lip, and pearl necklace. While we can’t imagine anyone wearing her headband today, we think she looked adorable in it.
Kelly Marie Tran
Kelly Marie Tran was glowing at the Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiere in 2017. She paired her long, straight hair with simple makeup and a nude lip. We think she looks amazing in red!
Zendaya
We are still obsessed with Zendaya’s look at the 2015 Academy Awards. She paired her dreadlocks with long eyelashes and a glossy, natural-looking pink lip. This look was actually immortalized by Barbie, who created a one-of-a kind doll modeled after the actress and her elegant Vivienne Westwood gown.
