Classic Smokey Eye Looks for the Holidays

Up in Smokey Eye

If you’re hitting the town this holiday season, make sure not to leave your house without a smokey eye! What better way to add flair and edge to your festive outfits than a classic smokey eye? In case you missed it, last week a few angels descended on NYC for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show viewing party, and we could not help but gawk and be inspired by the range of fierce smokey eyes a few of the girls rocked.

Ice princess

The icy blue eye shadow trend continues to show up on red carpets as seen on model Lais Ribeiro. By keeping her lips and cheeks neutral, the deep blue eyes shadow popped and made for a sultry yet fun look.

Breaking all the rules

Is it just us or does model Stella Maxwell’s entire look give you a “forget your silly rules” vibe? From the white pants suit after Labor Days to the slicked down hair, her look is what classic rebellion is made of and we are shaking! To keep her mood dark, Stella opted for a charcoal smokey eye so perfect we almost feel as if she invented the smokey eye.

Pretty in pink

We love a girl who is on trend, on time, always. That is what Gizele Oliviera’s entire look is. From the high Ariana Grande-esque ponytail, to the pink one shoulder dress paired with matching heels for a monochromatic look, we are ready to hit the next holiday party jacking her entire swag! What we like most about her smokey eye is it as striking as it is understated. Indeed, less is more and more is more, too.

Solid gold

During a season when cooler hues and tones are front and center, Jasmine Tookes’ warm smokey eye with golds and browns has us missing summer sunsets all over again. Not only is this look good for nighttime glam, it can work just as well in the day, so long as you keep your lips and cheeks neutral… if that’s your thing.
