Luvanti Has All the Anti-Aging Secrets!
Luvanti Offers Clinical Grade Skincare Minus the Gook
“Fortify. Correct. Reverse.” That is the Luvanti philosophy. The bespoke luxury skincare line offers a system of products that are free of parabens, petrolatum, phthalates, and sulfates. You know, all the gook commonly found in products sold at your local pharmacy. Unlike a lot of its competitors, Luvanti focuses on skin health at the cellular level; providing maximum efficacy and visible long-lasting results in a short period of time. In other words, you need to add Luvanti products to your skincare regime stat!
Yes, we’re talking about retinol again. Sort of.
We touched on Luvanti’s retinoic based Youthful & Luminous Regimen in an earlier article on the holy grail of skincare, retinol. Now, if you’re a late 20 something or older who has not incorporated some sort of retinol in their regimen, seriously, what are you waiting for?! Retinol is one of the few one-size-fits-all products that does everything you want all of your skincare products to do.
Nonetheless, we know you’re not here to talk about retinol, again. You want to know why we think Luvanti has all the anti-aging secrets, right? Well, to help you with that, we asked Luvanti CEO Lidya Mandala five questions that could give you more insight to an innovative line that beauty enthusiasts are always on the lookout for!
Women have been concerned with their skincare for ages. Before, “anti-aging” or preventative care seemed to be something reserved for women in their late 30s onward; but it seems like younger women have taken interest. Why do you think interest has increased?
With the prevalence of social media today, younger women consume information at a speed that is faster than ever before. They are increasingly well-informed and understand that when it comes to skincare, early protection and prevention is key to maintaining healthy and youthful skin. Instead of waiting for signs of aging, they are proactive in preventing and delaying the effects of aging.
In your opinion, when is the best time for women to start using Vitamin A or retinoic based skincare products?
We start losing collagen gradually in our 20s and luster in our 30s. Since Retinol has the capability to boost the amount of collagen our body makes, plump the skin, improve skin tone, and reduce fine lines and wrinkles, women should start using it in late 20s or early 30s as part of their skincare regimen. If the skin does not tolerate retinol, choose products with retinoid alternative.
If you could give one piece of skin care advice that will work for women across all age groups, what would that be?
Protect and moisturize your skin!
On social media, many skincare enthusiasts tout drinking water or staying hydrated as the key to a proper skincare regime. What are your thoughts on drinking water as part of proper skincare?
Like other cells in the body, skin cells are made up of water, so it is essential to stay hydrated in order for the skin to function at its best. Water not only helps rid you of toxins, but it promotes a more radiant glow to the skin. Without sufficient water, the skin will be dry and dull, have less resilience, and is more prone to wrinkles.
Our audience is diverse. In your experience, do you think that skin tone plays a factor in which ingredients people should look for in skincare products?
Skin tone plays a factor only to the extent that it suggests possible skin concerns. Your skin type and skin concerns are more relevant in determining which ingredients you should look for in skincare products. Those with very dark skin tone tend to have dry, rough skin but many with lighter skin tones have similar skin concerns. In both cases, products with hyaluronic acid are beneficial.
If you had to choose one Luvanti product to live with for the rest of your life, which would you choose? Why?
Our multi-function Peptide C30 B E & Ferulic Cream is one of my favorites. This age-defying, lightweight moisturizer which can be used day and night is antioxidant rich and contains: sodium ascorbyl phosphate, kakadu plum, phloretin, ferulic acid, and vitamin E, which all offer excellent hydration and advanced protection from UV damage. It has the highest vitamin C content in stable form currently on the market. If you’re concerned with preventative care, it helps boost collagen while minimizing fine lines, wrinkles, and scars. It contains peptides that help to firm the dermal scaffold, strengthen connective tissues, stimulate collagen synthesis, and boost radiance and resilience.
How did your experiences in the high tech industry translate to your venture into entrepreneurship in the cosmetics industry?
I have had my share of skincare concerns through the years! I grew frustrated spending so much time trying to find the right skincare products that addressed every issue: dryness, sensitive skin, hyper-pigmentation, acne, and wrinkles. Because of this frustration, I knew that, like many others, I needed something that would address my various skin concerns as I age;
something that is gentle on the skin; simple to follow, and effortless to apply. This need, along with my passion for wellness and creation, propelled me to venture into the beauty and skincare industry. With my combined experience in business management, marketing, and operations in the high tech industry, I was determined to merge my skills and passion into entrepreneurship.
Just for fun: do you follow any influencers or celebrities on social media? If so, who are your top three and why?
There is no specific influencer or celebrity that I follow.
