In its second season premiere, American Beauty Star contestants recreate their signature slay. From drag queen inspired makeup looks, to 90’s music video glam, get into their final looks!
With a background in pageant beauty, Axel’s signature slay gave us modern glam with a classic twist. The strong brow and fun high ponytail is ready to make a statement.
Brittney wanted to add some edginess to the classic evening gown she chose, so she went with graphic eyeliner and wild, voluminous curls.
As a fan of artful beauty looks, Diana decided to take a risk by doing a hairstyle she had never tried before – a mohawk with intricate details. After deciding to completely take off and redo her makeup look halfway through the challenge, she ended up with a gorgeous look that accentuated her model’s natural features.
Jayson went with a glowing, bronzed look that focused on the eyes. He completed his signature look with loose, bouncy curls.
With a background in wedding makeup, Kendra wanted to prove her versatility as an artist. She created a sexy look by contouring and using pink eyeshadow to play up her model’s eyes. She went with a sleek yet voluminous high ponytail to tie the look together.
Inspired by old Hollywood glam, Leslie’s went curly hair and soft, red carpet makeup. She accented her signature look with red lips.
Lucy loves drag makeup, but wanted to tone it down a touch for her first look of the season. She used purple and green to create a stunning eye look, and finished off her signature slay with a sleek high pony.
Oz loves focusing on enhancing her client’s natural beauty. For her signature slay she created a dewy, bronzed look with bold brows. She added some excitement to her simple, polished ponytail with gold bobby pins.
An experienced red carpet hair and makeup artist, Ricardo loves glamorous hair and makeup. He created a sleek yet voluminous half-up half-down hairstyle and used eyeliner to emphasize his model’s eyes.
Ronaldo created bouncy waves and polished makeup for his signature slay. He used metallic gold eye shadow to create a classic, sultry look.
Inspired by a mixture of 90’s R&B and emo/scene culture, Samson went with big hair and and plenty of blush with gold accents for his signature slay.
Sara’s signature style is sexy and edgy. She went with a smokey eye and effortless ‘i woke up like this’ waves for her hairstyle.
To reflect her own signature haircut, Tina recreated the blunt bob by cutting a wig. She finished the look off with glowing skin and eyeliner to emphasize her model’s eyes.
Tyren loves to make his clients feel as beautiful as possible, so he decided to play up his model’s gorgeous natural features with a bit of contouring and a natural smokey eye. He went with voluminous curls to complete the look.
