Meghan Markle's bridal look from royal wedding 2018

The Tea Behind Meghan Markle’s Bridal Look

Did You Love Meghan Markle’s Bridal Look as Much as We Did?!

Looking for a bridal look that suits your paired back, minimalistic style? Look no further than Meghan Markle’s. Today, Meghan Markle wed Prince Harry in the most anticipated royal wedding since William and Kate’s! As expected, there was much speculation about what she would wear leading up to the ceremony. For starters, the 36 year old actress, turned Duchess and Princess, was a vision in a white Givenchy gown.

What’s the tea?

While many speculated that Meghan would do her own hair and makeup for the special day, it turns out that was untrue. Celebrity makeup artist, Daniel Martin, was the artist behind the “controversial” look that brought the world to a standstill. The reason there was a lot of controversy surrounding Meghan’s bridal look was because of it’s simplicity. Most people are used to seeing brides pull out all the stops for their big day; but Meghan kept things clean and simple. We love that she stuck to the makeup no makeup look that has worked for her over the years. Seriously, anything more may have been a bit jarring.

Meghan’s bridal look was elegant and charming. Supple skin, flirty eyelashes, and strong brows were the name of the game. Daniel went easy on the foundation and allowed her beautiful freckles to shine, naturally. Her earthy smokey eye was so subtle, you almost missed it. The touch of pink on her lips brought a feminine, modest touch to an all-around sweet look.  Fun fact: Daniel created this stunning bridal look using Dior and Honest Beauty products only.

Meghan chose celebrity hairstylist, Serge Normant to style her tresses. Serge gave her a hairstyle fit for a tiara and veil – the classic low-bun with a middle part. While everything is about the the messy bun these days, she kept things a bit more classy and manicured for her special bridal look.

People will talk about Meghan’s hair and makeup for a while, but let’s not forget her dress! The bardot cut, structured bodice, and elegant train are what princess dresses are made of! Overall, her look was perfect – as if she were born to be a Queen! 10/10.

Best wishes to the British Royal Family’s newest couple. With wedding season right around the corner, we’re hoping that future brides will find major inspo in this timeless bridal look. If you loved her look, leave a comment below. We’d love to hear from you!
