These Broadway babes proved less is more at the 2018 Tony Awards

Last night, the 2018 Tony Awards was held at Radio Music Hall, and these Broadway babes were just magical! Just in case you don’t know what the Tony Awards is, it’s a night where Broadway’s best talent is rewarded for their performances in stage plays and musicals. Kerry Washington

Although Kerry Washington was a presenter, we felt like she should get an award for simply being stunning! The Scandal actress wore her hair and makeup fairly natural against her embellished silvery cutout dress. It seems Kerry found the secret to flawless skin as hers glowed effortlessly. Seriously, can you spot one pore?! She wore a charcoal smokey eye so subtle that you almost missed it and buttery pink lips. Kerry blew out and straightened her natural, shoulder length hair for an old school Aaliyah-esque ‘do.

Sara Bareilles

Sara Bareilles played host alongslide Josh Groban and looked absolutely gorgeous while doing so! She matched her makeup to her J. Mendel dress for a classy rust monochrome look that is trending for Fall. While she changed her outfits throughout the night, her hair and makeup remained relatively the same. Although throughout the night her outfits may have changed, her hair and makeup continued to stay effortlessly the same. Effortless waves tossed over her shoulders, rosy cheeks, and nude lips gave Sara a look as if she started summer at least a month ahead of us.

Laurie Metcalf

Laurie Metcalf took home the Tony for “Best Actress in a Play” and looked beautiful while doing it. We love a chic, slicked back ‘do and she executed perfectly. To add a bit of drama to this look, Laurie filled in her brows and opted for a sleek cat eye liner look that made her hazel eyes pop! The key to ageless beauty is all in the skin and hers was particularly smooth and dewy – not cake makeup here! We love it.

Tina Fey

Tina Fey brought the 2000s cult classic Mean Girls to the stage and boy, did it have a mean night after being shut out even with 12 nominations! The actress and comedienne was every bit a “cool mom” with her silver sequined outfit and matching eye shadow. Like Laurie, Tina opted for cat eyeliner and a pop of pink on her lips. As for her hair, she kept it simple with luscious waves that grazed her shoulders. Totally fetch!

Uzo Aduba

Uzo Aduba nailed the Princess Leia look with her pinned back black space buns! Her dress and hairstyle made her one of the stand outs for the night. Perhaps winged eyeliner was the theme of the night, because Uzo also rocked a cat eye as part of her makeup look. There is no better lip to pair with a golden yellow dress than this pinkish, nude color that Uzo wore. Like the 2018 Tony Awards, she was absolutely shining last night!

Allison Williams

Get Out‘s star actress, Allison Williams, turned heads! First of all, we love her asymmetrical white pantsuit – nothing quite signals the start of summer than an all white look. For her makeup, Allison kept the attention on her blue eyes with smoldering black eyeliner and strong brows. She wore her hair silky straight and pinned at the right side to give this sharp look a dainty touch.

Jane Krakowski

Blunt bob haircuts are never not trending for the summer! For thr 2018 Tony Awards, Jane Krakowski, was the lady in red. Not only was her cut perfect, but the middle part and blonde hair brought it out even more. A red dress calls for her a red lip and little to no makeup on the eyes and that’s exactly what Jane did. 10/10.
